Funds, volunteers needed for all-women-built home

A group of women volunteers said they are more than ready to build a house all on their own next year on Clay Street.

But putting hammer to nail may not be the hardest part of the project. Organizers first must raise enough money and gather enough female volunteers to pull it off.
More than 70 women gathered last week on Watermark's Cabaret II to celebrate the official start of the Arundel Habitat for Humanity's third Women Build project. The last women-only project was six years ago.
