Next fall, Arundel High senior Brett RaVell will have a shaved head and be called a "knob."
Wendi Winters - For The CapitalOdenton resident Brett RaVell, 17, a senior at Arundel High School, competes on the school’s varsity wrestling team and also grapples with a beast of a schedule — he’s active in sports, Scouting and his church. He can't wait. The 17-year-old will be a "knob," or freshman, at The Citadel, located in Charleston, S.C. He didn't wrestle with his decision: his father is a 1981 graduate of The Citadel. Four-and-a-half years from now, Brett is planning to launch his career with the Army's Special Forces Unit and eventually hopes to have a second career as an FBI agent.
