Mall security, doctor save elderly man's lifePublished 04/26/09
A leisurely shopping trip to Westfield Annapolis mall on Wednesday afternoon nearly turned deadly for an elderly man when he suffered a heart attack in front of a Starbucks coffee shop. But a quick-acting security team and a doctor gave the 83-year-old man a second chance at life with the use of an automated external defibrillator and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Thanks to all the quick acting folks that helped this couple. Hopefully, this will help kids to understand that Mall Security aren't just "rent a cops". :)
