GRASONVILLE - A Prince George's County man was in serious but stable condition after being shot early yesterday morning at a party, the Queen Anne's Sheriff's Office said.
Deandre Ackree, 18, of Waldorf, who had been staying with relatives near Ridgely, was shot while standing with a group of people outside the Community Center in Grasonville around midnight yesterday, authorities said.
Officers were called to the scene of the shooting for reports of fireworks or gunfire around midnight, but found no one in the area when they arrived.
