GREENBELT - An Annapolis man was sentenced yesterday in federal court to six months of house arrest for his part in an armored-car heist last summer in Montgomery County.
Damon Keith Pritchett, 32, pleaded guilty March 24 in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt to accessory after the fact.
Prosecutors said Pritchett did not participate in the July 5 robbery outside Westfield Wheaton Plaza mall, but rather helped his three accomplices hide more than half of the $588,000 stolen in the heist. Pritchett buried two bags containing $324,000 in a wooded area in Temple Hills.
