52 become U.S. citizens in Annapolis

Fifty-two adults from more than 30 countries celebrated Independence Day as brand new U.S. citizens yesterday, and more than 150 friends and family members were there to cheer them on.

Fifty-two people became U.S. citizens during the ceremony.

For the fourth year in a row, Historic Annapolis Foundation opened the William Paca House and its manicured gardens to the public for the naturalization ceremony. Afterward, the house and grounds - which once belonged to one of four Maryland signers of the Declaration of Independence - remained open to the guests and the public for several hours.

I agree wholeheartedly. It may be a process, but if you are seeking to live here and be an American complete with all the perks and benefits...do it the right way!

and become citizens,as opposed to the millions of others who come hear to work the
system
