LOTHIAN - A Lothian woman was killed in a three-car collision on Bay Front Road yesterday afternoon, county police said.
Nancy Dowell, 48, of Main St., died at the scene after her car was struck from behind as she attempted to turn into a driveway around 1:54 p.m.
Police said Dowell was attempting to turn left in her 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier from eastbound Bay Front, also known at Route 258, when she was hit from behind by a tow truck. The impact forced her vehicle across the westbound lanes and off the road.
She was pinned in her car and died on the scene.

Two computers from the Economic Development Officer's home. Were they city property? Was one of them the computer he refused to give Ruby Singleton Blakeley? And I wonder if there was anything on those computers that might have been important--say for a sexual harassment suit?
