ANNAPOLIS - The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking resumes of people interested in filling four vacancies on the Commission on the Establishment of a Maryland Women in Military Service Monument.
The General Assembly created the commission in 2006 to coordinate efforts to erect a monument dedicated to Maryland women who have served or are serving in the military.
The commission aims to complete its work by 2014, and the monument's design and location have yet to be determined.
