BASEBALL TRYOUTS: The U14 Bay Blitz travel baseball team will be holding tryouts for players born after April 30, 1995. Tryouts will be held at Broadneck High School'S varsity field on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 2-5 p.m. Interested players must pre-register at www.broadneckselect.org or contact Kirk Haynes (410-375-2702) or Ed (410-905-5516). SKATE WITH MIDS: The USNA Ice Hockey team plays the University of Maryland tomorrow at 1p.m. at the McMullen Hockey Arena in the Brigade Sports Complex. Following the game, all ticket-holding patrons will be invited to a free skate with the Midshipmen and signature opportunity. Rental skates will be provided. MAGO VISTA BASKETBALL: Mago Vista Basketball is in its final weeks of registration for the 2009-2010 season. Mago Vista provides community level and county level basketball teams for boys and girls ages 5 thru 17. All County teams are guaranteed two practices per week and a before season tournament and Christmas Tournament as well totaling 16 games for the season. INTEGRITY LACROSSE: Tryouts for girls with high school graduating years 2011 through 2017 will be held on Sunday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Integrity Lacrosse facility in Davidsonville. CHESAPEAKE CLUB LACROSSE: CC Lax, a year-round program for girls, will hold open tryouts for the classes of 2011-2016 on Halloween weekend. Tryouts will be held on Oct. 31 on the back fields of Annapolis High for graduation years of 2014-2016 from noon-2 p.m. and the classes of 2011-2013 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.. Tryouts will be held on Nov. 1 on the turf field at Broadneck Hight for graduation years 2011-2012 from 10 a.m.-noon, 2013-2014 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and 2015-2016 from 3-4:30 p.m.. This is an instructional league with a heavy emphasis on teaching basketball fundamentals. The format will be half clinic instruction and half weekly games. The eight-week league is for boys and girls ages 4-14 and will be held Saturday afternoons beginning Dec. 5 at Annapolis Area Christian School-Bestgate Campus.
