BALTIMORE - An Odenton man was sentenced yesterday to 10 years in federal prison for his part in a drug distribution conspiracy involving more than 440 pounds of ecstasy.
Bum Gu Kim, 33, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Baltimore to possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, conspiracy to distribute ecstasy and conspiracy to launder money.
From September 2006 until August 2007, Kim and several co-conspirators traveled from Maryland to Canada several times to trade large amounts of cocaine for large amounts of esctasy, prosecutors said.
