ANNAPOLIS - Naval Academy chemistry professor Judith Harrison has been granted the George L. Braude Award, the academy has announced.
The award was created to honor professors who have a significant impact on teaching and who collaborate in their research with students and postdoctoral fellows.
Harrison received her doctorate from the University of New Hampshire, where her graduate work dealt largely with the dynamics of gases.
She has worked for nearly two decades studying hydrocarbon systems.
