ANNAPOLIS - City police are searching for a suspect in connection with an Eastport shooting early Sunday morning.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Jermaine Gerena Morales, 21, who is considered armed and dangerous, in the shooting which sent an 18-year-old Annapolis man to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
The victim, Delontae Dare, was listed in critical condition Monday with a gunshot wound to the right buttock. He lost a lot of blood on the scene, which led emergency responders to think his femoral artery might have been damaged.
