ANNAPOLIS - Josh Cohen has resigned his County Council seat effective Dec. 6, the day before he will be sworn in as mayor of Annapolis, according to a copy of the resignation obtained by The Capital.
The timing of his resignation ensures that a pro-slots successor cannot be appointed before the council votes on whether to approve a casino at Arundel Mills mall on Dec. 7.
Meanwhile, Board of Appeals member William Moulden plans to apply for Cohen's soon-to-be vacant District 6 seat.

Is it me or does this judge only know 18months.I think every story I see with his name and a sentencing its the same all the time.He gives the criminal all these year to serve but then suspends all but 18months.No wonder people dont mind breakin the law in AA County.
