The county's first baby of the decade arrived at 1:12 a.m. yesterday morning at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, while the first one delivered at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie came 10 hours later and is named America.

Both newborns are girls.
