DEALE - A fire last night destroyed DBS Charter Services in Deale, county Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters were called to 6131 McKendree Road off Old Bay Front Road just before 6 p.m., said Battalion Chief Steve Thompson, a county Fire Department spokesman.
Arriving crews found heavy fire coming from the roof of the 1½-story business.
It took 57 firefighters from Anne Arundel, Calvert and Prince George's counties about an hour to get the "all-hands" fire under control, said Division Chief Michael Cox, a county Fire Department...

What was the "appropriate project...?" a circuit board? Wow -- this didn't have to go this far as to being reported to the police unless full grown adults can't determine what a explosive device that may look like one. I bet this person wouldn't know the difference between a 9mm and a paint gun. Don't get me wrong... neither are allowed in the school setting -- however, we parents and teachers should teach children deductive reasoning skills...and be able to use them ourselves. What has this done for this young man in his quest for science and technology? Do you think this child meant to harm anyone? Or are we so afraid that common sense makes no sense anymore?
