BALTIMORE - A federal grand jury yesterday indicted a county police lieutenant on one charge of receiving child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Prosecutors last week charged Lt. James Cifala only with attempted receipt of child pornography.
Both charges carry the same possible sentence, from a mandatory minimum of five years in prison to a maximum of 20 years.
According to the indictment, Cifala received at least one picture of a naked girl. Prosecutors previously alleged he manipulated a 16-year-old girl last summer into using her cell phone...
