Nothing. When I was a kid, the snowflakes were the size of dinner plates and twice as heavy. So if you tried to catch snowflakes in your mouth, you would knock out your front teeth. AND, wherever the snow touched bare skin, you got leprosy. Not like today's snows.

How times change. When I was a kid it was like this. If it snowed so much that it was over top of the front door and you couldn't even open the windows because the snow was pilled up over them. That was a blizzard. Anything else was a minor inconvenience.
