KENT ISLAND - A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured Thursday while tubing in Eastern Bay, Department of Natural Resources Police officials said.
The boy, who was visiting Kent Island from out of state, was being pulled on an inner tube attached to a jet ski around 1:30 p.m. when he was thrown from the tube.
The boy suffered a head injury not considered to be life-threatening and was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for evaluation.
