THEIR NAMES are literally on the map: If you happen to be in the Davidsonville area, you can go by way of Wayson Road to Elmer F. Hagner Lane, which leads to the county police academy. But former county police chief and legislator Elmer F. Hagner Jr. and Annapolis attorney Edward O. Wayson Jr. -- the latter part of a family that has been in this county for more than 300 years -- left a mark here in many other ways. The two men died within a few days of each other last week, Mr. Hagner at age 85, Mr. Wayson at 54. And both will be missed.
