On Nov. 7, Anne Arundel County voters will go to the polls to select their next county executive - the single most important position when it comes to determining the county's future. Primary voters have decided that the two best candidates are Democrat George Johnson and Republican John Leopold.
There are few philosophical differences between the two, but there's a stark contrast in personalities and leadership capabilities.
In Mr. Johnson, voters have a nice, common-sense guy surrounded by a cadre of supporters. In Mr. Leopold they have a veteran legislator with strong communication skills, an ability to grasp difficult...
