ANOTHER BRIDGE - We can appreciate state Sen. E.J. Pipkin's opposition to putting one end of a new bay crossing in Kent County. Queen Anne's County residents don't want a new bridge either - and Mr. Pipkin represents that county as well. Find Us On Facebook
The senator recently introduced a bill to prevent state funding of a bridge between Kent County and Millers Island in Baltimore County. But what happens if the state starts ruling out bridge sites piecemeal? Does Mr. Pipkin think there is a state senator anywhere on the bay who would welcome such a bridge in his district? The "not in my back yard" approach could doom any hope of another...
