Guest Column: State on cusp of being the Silicon Valley of new nuclear generation

Notwithstanding the current hardships our country faces, all economic forecasts point to increasing population, growing economy and the corresponding need to increase our supply of domestically secure, reliable and clean sources of energy.

In the near term, our nation is pursuing an array of renewable energy initiatives and undertaking energy efficiency programs to reduce and better manage demand for energy.
