But there will be no investigation by the US Attorney (or Board of Elections) and to the extent the flyer produced its intended result, there is no undoing the harm it has caused. The flyer was used by someone employing pure power politics, and someone openly contemptuous of the common principles of democracy.

Also, I would (quietly) point out that the flyer condemned Bowling for being white, as well as gay.
