For all the talk about growth at Fort George G. Meade, most county residents haven't grasped the sheer size of the changes already rolling toward west county. We hope our stories on Sunday put them into perspective. Find Us On Facebook
Because of the personnel reshuffling referred to in government-speak as BRAC - the base realignment and closure process - the area in and around the fort will soon be gaining 22,000 jobs (about 12,000 provided by government agencies, 10,000 by contractors).
