It isn't hard to measure the growing incidence of obesity. You can see it on street corners, in the malls and in restaurants. You don't see it in health clubs or on athletic fields. Find Us On Facebook
Obesity has increased 16 percent in this country and most of the growth can be attributed to poor education, a proliferation of fast-food restaurants and busy lifestyles that make junk food a necessity. In fact, a new report from the journal Health Affairs reports that children get more than 27 percent of their daily calories from snacks and sugary treats.
