No the bridge woes are not limited to the eastern shore, however there are far more eastern shore residents who cross the bridge for work then there are western shore folks coming east to work.

Back-lash - August 29, 2008
The Bay Bridge problems are not just an Eastern Shore issue. The fallout stretches to Rt 97, Rt 32, Rt 100, East-West Blvd, Benefield Blvd......I can't even imagine what it's fallout is like in Annapolis. Either fix the problem, a new bridge, or eliminate it, no bridge. This half-way sort of compromise thing isn't working for anyone.

Another span needed - August 29, 2008
Anyone who says no to another span isn't sitting in the mess currently underway for the next ~10 weeks. 1 lane open going East on a major holiday weekend? Is this a joke? Maryland builds waterfront homes for low income families but can't build another span - not really that surprising actually, makes perfect sense.

how about another bridge? - August 29, 2008
Corrosion didn't happen overnight and the amount that the bridge is being worked on through out this year --lanes are constantly closed and unsafe 2 way traffic has been a constant-- this is outrageous. How about another bridge or lower level like other cities. Marylanders don't deserve this poor planning and oversight without accountability-- the administrators can disrupt flow of traffic whenever they please without a plan and travelers are just held hostage.
