Like it or not, planing boards are going to become even more popular in the Chesapeake. Fishermen who use them like them, some of those who don't aren't particularly thrilled about the likelihood of more boats dragging them on the bay. No doubt about it, planers catch fish; they can improve catches something like the umbrella rigs do - though it takes time and practice to learn how to set them out and work them without any problems.
