When it comes to fishing - as with most other things - one can't argue with success. On second thought, one can argue that point, but can't win. As written here previously, in recent weeks I've noted somewhat of a switch in bait color preferences for rockfish as Izaak Waltons prepare for the trophy season, which opens April 16. For '05, there appears to be more of a swing to white whether the lures be bucktails, parachutes, or spoons. But, pre-season angler preferences don't always match those of the fish, which have their own curious druthers that have long stymied those of us on the other end of the rod. The cost of fitting...
