When Ryan Waugh of Severna Park rigged up for crossbow hunting for yesterday's opener of the special X-bow shoot within Maryland's bow season, I'll bet he wasn't aware that the cost of his horizontal bow alone would have equipped William Tell and a Swiss army big enough to wipe out Gessler and his sidekicks.
