With some exceptions - which we will get into in a moment - the chase for rockfish in the Chesapeake is no great shakes.
It really isn't one of those "you should have been here yesterday" things - instead it's "you should be here tomorrow."
But, to be truthful, "tomorrow" can be vague. The first of the big sea-run stripers have been caught, and with sea lice in their gills. Almost surely, many more will follow.
And, that's where you should be then - but "where" and "when" also can be vague.
