BALTIMORE - There was a lot of excitement yesterday as organizers, sponsors and representatives of charities that will benefit from the seventh annual Baltimore Running Festival gathered to crow about Saturday's event.
There were also some who, while also being enthusiastic, were more concerned with the events that include a marathon.
Coming just one week after runners died during the running of the Chicago Marathon and the Army 10-Miler Run, Jim Scheulen of the Johns Hopkins Department of Emergency Medicine was more anxious about avoiding such a tragedy in Baltimore.
