It has long been said that it matters not to a fish - if it must be caught - who catches it. King or peasant, same bottom line. I note with pleasure during the current modern firearms deer season the same old saw applies to trophy bucks. They are not exclusively within the domain of the sage old hunters who know all of the tricks of the whitetail trail. Find Us On Facebook
Increasingly, young nimrods, some on their first hunt, are taking trophy bucks - not infrequently a dad will proudly announce that his son/daughter took a better whitetail than he did. Pop wants to be tops in deer camp or club, but not necessarily in the family.
