Figuring where to fish over the weekend is tough since all the recent wind and rain is sure to disrupt the pattern of stripers headed back to the ocean following their spawning activity in bay tributaries.
Whether the weather and runoff will also impact spawning success in the mid and lower bay remains to be seen, but it sure kept many an angler shoreside - and the bay remains more than cloudy.
With the possibility of more rain and high tides in the forecast this writer finds it difficult to predict what the weekend will bring. One thing is almost certain, continued flooding will disrupt fishing activities in the Potomac...
