Running: More distance training sessions in works for Annapolis runnersPublished 07/06/08
If you were able to slow them down and inquire of some of the runners you see on these hot and humid days, you would find that many of them are in training for upcoming runs. This past Sunday in downtown Annapolis, two runners were charging up the left side of the Duke of Gloucester Street hill, facing traffic (guess runners are allowed to run the wrong way on one way streets). Both were training for the Annapolis 10-miler, and both seemed intent on doing the annual August run in less than an hour. An official of the State Highway Administration said on Monday that the Annapolis 10-Mile Run route is "under review"...
