If I were on the hunt for Diamond Jim in the upper bay, tell you what I'd be doing in the effort to pocket the $10,000 on his head and the $5,000 diamond added as a bonus by Smyth Jewelers. It wouldn't be my choice for fun fishing, but I'd troll 4- to 6-inch Storm or Tsunami swimming shads at various depths in the Patapsco River - and either downriver to the open bay, or upriver into the Inner Harbor. Thus far no 2008 Diamond Jims have been reeled in, and the latest release of chartreuse-tagged rockfish at Fort McHenry are of the right size for trolled baits.
