When Arbrey Butler and Joseph Eades of Annapolis set sail out of Sunset Marina to the bluewater canyons 65 miles offshore from Ocean City marlin, white or blue, were their prime target. Arbrey scored on a billfish though it was neither of those anticipated. For Ocean City, it was an unusual catch. In 30 minutes, he cranked in a sailfish more associated with tropical and subtropical waters, the big fish for big game anglers in Florida. Blue marlin, which range in both the Atlantic and Pacific are a tropical and warm temperate billfish, much bigger on average than sails or white marlin - and not nearly as plentiful. White marlin...
