Earlier this week I gave a talk to the MSSA Perry Hall chapter on late season fishing. Sitting among the crowd were Lee Haile and his teenage son, Eddie, both top notch anglers. My seminar focused on rockfish, yet afterward we got to talking about a recent trip where they had mashed up the white perch. According to Lee, these were some of the prettiest you’d ever want to see. Not one to be shy, I blurted out, “where’d you get them?”
