Cape. St. Claire man aces par 4 at Compass Pointe

Michael Veracka has missed more birdie putts than he cares to remember on the No. 1 hole of Compass Pointe's East course.

But during a recent round there, Veracka bypassed the putter altogether, making a hole-in-one on the 288-yard par 4 hole.

The double-eagle occurred Oct. 17. It was the second career hole-in-one for Veracka, a Cape St. Claire resident.
