(Kiptopeke, Va.) — The parking lot at the Kiptopeke boat ramp was jammed with trucks and SUVs, trailers in tow, even though it was just slightly past 7 a.m. A bluebird day, on a weekend no less, not only brought out the locals from Virginia’s lower Shore but anglers from all of the mid-Atlantic states and a few from New England. The striper bite was definitely on.
