One wonders whether Ralph Nycum of Glen Burnie will make the switch from hawgs to missuckeke-kequock as have so many other Marylanders such as BASS Expo promoter Bob Dobart, popular Kent Island guide Richie Gaines and Inner Harbor angler Gary Peters. No one could blame 59-year-old Nycum if he changes allegiances - not after the catch he made the past week in Virginia waters off the mouth of the Chesapeake. Until a couple of years ago he was perfectly content to concentrate on trout and bass from shore ponds. He caught no noteworthy rainbows and none of his largemouth bass were really worth bragging about - maybe 4 or 5 pounds tops,...
