The surprise showers that rumbled though town about 6 a.m. Sunday created some super-sized puddles at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, but barely dampened the enthusiasm of the almost 3,000 runners gathered to run the 2nd ZOOMA Half Marathon and 10K runs (presented by New Balance) that went off just after 7 a.m.
