I’ve witnessed seasoned anglers and professional outdoorsmen throw a fit after losing a fish that’d make a third-grader blush. Would you care for some whine with your crying jag, sir? On the far end of that same spectrum I’ve watched newbies to our sport yip with unabashed excitement at catching their first rockfish, even if it wasn’t big enough to tap out a 12-inch ruler.
