Running: Baltimore festival sustains good thingPublished 10/14/09
The ninth running of the Baltimore Running Festival (marathon/half marathon, marathon relay and 5K) was held last Saturday. The 1984 version of this race was my first marathon, with Satyr Hill, Loch Raven, et al; so I have a soft spot for the event. I also did the first of the current version in 2001. Since I was not going to be around to support the Marine Corps Marathon later in the month, I decided to set up a refreshment table at mile 21 near Lake Montebello.
