The combo leagues are a new format for doubles in which a combination of NTRP rated players can play together. For instance a 5.5 team can consist of a 2.5 and 3.0 player. In this, the fastest growing league in the state, 390 players from Anne Arundel County participated this year. This was an increase of 20 percent increase from 2008.
Bill Killham and Pete Archibald's team won the District title at the 5.5 level defeating Tom Walsh's team, also from Anne Arundel County, 3-0.
