Most sport fishermen had to suspect it was only a matter of time before the Department of Natural Resources' Fisheries Service took a closer look at the way they catch spot for use as live bait. In the past five years or so, live lining small spot has become an effective and fun way for charter captains, guides and sport anglers to catch rockfish and bluefish during the summer months.
