Sometimes geographic locations or political events inspire artists long after the moment has passed. World events often make their impact in local ways, and conversely, as with the city of Annapolis, local news becomes a historic event. The artists exhibiting this month in the Annapolis area have used this concept in an abundance of ways, and it dovetails well with July's biggest national holiday.
