Frederick County commissioners adopt new home moratorium

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - The Frederick County Commissioners have voted to halt some new home construction in unincorporated areas for up to two years.

 

The moratorium took affect immediately after the vote Tuesday evening.

Yea its easy for you to say that, you obviously dont rely on the building business for a paycheck.
My dad owns his own construction company, obviously this isnt good for him either . I dont think this was thought through well enough. I also work for a roofing company, at least we are in 5 states though. I think this is a dumb idea

Good for Frederick County. Anne Arundel County should be doing the same thing. Annapolis and Anne Arundel County used to be delightful places to visit, but now it is so difficult for a tourist or researcher to get around there that I dread the trips.
