Woman loses husband, gives birth
BALTIMORE - A Catonsville woman delivered her first child on Mother's Day, only to learn that the child's father had died from the stab wounds he suffered during a robbery.
Claudia Sales last saw her husband Carlos Santay while she was in labor Saturday afternoon. Mr. Santay went to a gas station about a block from their home to gas up his car for the ride to the hospital, but he never returned. Finally, Ms. Sales left by ambulance for Howard County General Hospital. Her baby boy, also named Carlos arrived about 3:30 a.m. yesterday. Her husband's cousin later...
