State and local officials have tentatively agreed on funding for the Prince George's Hospital System, once a new owner is found for the financially troubled medical network that operates Maryland's second-busiest trauma center, officials said yesterday. The agreement calls for the state and county to split a total commitment of $150 million in grant support over five years, beginning in fiscal year 2011, Gov. Martin O'Malley's administration said.
