In 2007, $3.4 million for these programs was left unspent statewide. The amount of unspent funds has risen since 2005 when $2 million was left over.

Disgusting.... - 2008-10-09 14:59:41

It disgusts me that the State, especially the ADAA is so incompetent that they allow these much needed funds to go unused. Do you have any idea how many people could have been helped either through outpatient, or even inpatient, that were not?

Someone needs to see what these funds are spent on to begin with, and investigate these programs - people could get better help with private programs but using this funding than some of the cut-rate no-help facilities the State uses now.
